Salted egg squid recipe

Yummy salted egg squid is the best

 

This squid recipe is an adaptation from the dish I had it
while ago at the small restaurant by the beach in Pataya.
I wasn't a big fan of squid but as my friend insisted me to try,
so I did. Guess what? It's absolutely beautiful!
I love how the taste of the salted egg york which is blended
with the texture of the squid. It's soo good.
So hop in and let me share this wonderful dish with you.

Squid with salted egg

Ingredients
  • 150g of squid cut into rectangles
  • 2 salted egg yorks
  • 1 spring onion cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1 red chili pepper, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon of chopped garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1/4 ground white pepper
  • 1/4 cup of chicken stock
Directions

1 Mix the yorks well with some warm water
set aside.

2 Heat up the oil, stir in garlic and squid.
Cook the squid for 2-3 minutes until it
turn solid white color.

3 Add the red pepper,Spring onion,
oyster sauce, sugar and ground pepper.
Continue cooking for a minute.

4 add the egg york and stock
Turn up the heat and stir fry for few second

Turn onto the plate, serve with steam rice

Serve 2
